DO YOU STILL DREAM?
A Martin Luther King Story
Synopsis — Do You Still Dream? Before the marches and the speeches, there was a boy with a dream.
Do You Still Dream? is a gospel-infused stage production that traces the early life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—from age 14 to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Created by award-winning playwright Kenneth G. Craddox and presented by Bishop’s Kid Productions, this powerful theatrical experience blends traditional gospel music, intimate family scenes, and pivotal historical moments to reveal the roots of a leader shaped by faith, love, and conviction.
Audiences will witness the challenges and choices that shaped King’s voice long before it echoed across the nation. With a cast of ten and a soul-stirring soundtrack, the play invites viewers, especially youth, to reflect on their own dreams, their communities, and the courage it takes to lead with purpose.
Whether staged in schools, churches, or theaters, Do You Still Dream? is more than a performance, it’s a call to action, a celebration of legacy, and a reminder that every dream begins at home.
